New Awards Program Invites Customers to Share Learning and Development Success Stories

BOSTON—May 17, 2022O’Reilly, the premier source for insight-driven learning on technology and business, today announced its inaugural O’Reilly Awards program. Customers of the technical learning leader are invited to share their corporate learning achievements for the opportunity to be recognized for success in providing employees with outstanding learning programs. O’Reilly Awards present the opportunity to earn credible recognition in addition to valuable accolades that are visible to prospective customers, partners, and new talent. Nominations are now open until July 15, 2022.

O’Reilly customers will have the opportunity to submit a maximum of one application in up to two of the following award categories:

  • Most Effective User Onboarding Program: Nominations should highlight interesting engagement strategies that generated fast user activity on the platform, novel internal communications approaches, and other ideas that helped drive early adoption of O’Reilly within your organization.
  • Best in Skills Transformation: Whether migrating to the cloud, adopting AI, or ensuring security is baked into all of your products, nominations in this category should detail how your team leveraged O’Reilly en masse to drive a skills transformation across your organization. How did you engage your teams, how did O’Reilly help, and what was the end result?
  • Interactive Learning Champion: Nominations should share how your teams have built skills in a hands-on manner using interactive scenarios, sandboxes, and labs. How have you driven adoption, and what were the outcomes?
  • O’Reilly’s Choice: Nominations seeking to be recognized for this coveted category should feature interesting stories about leveraging the O’Reilly learning platform in innovative ways that helped drive material business outcomes.

Winners will earn credible recognition for providing employees with outstanding learning programs from an organization that has been regarded as the leader in technical learning for over 40 years.”

O’Reilly will announce a total of 12 winners, with three winners per category broken down by company size—one winner each from a small (less than 300 employees), medium (300–1,000 employees), and large organization (more than 1,000 employees). Applications will be scored by several criteria involving business impact, end-user engagement and benefits, and wow factor. Winners will be selected for their superior learning programs propelled by innovative strategies that have demonstrated successful outcomes.

Beyond bragging rights, O’Reilly Award winners will have an opportunity to gain press recognition and praise among the O’Reilly community. Winners will receive an award badge for website, social, and newsletter use, inclusion in an O’Reilly press release announcing all winners, and social media promotion from O’Reilly’s social accounts. The award-winning organizations will also be featured on the O’Reilly website, showcasing how they’re leveraging the O’Reilly learning platform, and will be included in a live announcement during an upcoming O’Reilly event.

There’s no cost to enter the awards program, and entries will be accepted until July 15, 2022. Winners will be notified in early September and publicly announced later that month.
